OEM and private label
Most buyers start with our stock range and add their brand once the product sells. This page explains what can be customised, at what volume, and how long it takes.
What "private label" means here
There are two levels, and they are priced differently.
| Level | What you get | MOQ | Extra lead time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private label | Your logo and artwork on the carton, insert card and care sheet | 20 units | 5–10 days |
| OEM | Private label plus a custom head or body configuration, custom skin tone matching, and your own model naming | 100 units | 20–40 days, plus tooling |
If you sell on marketplaces where brand names are restricted, we also ship fully neutral — no logo, no brand, plain carton. That is the same price as private label.
Private label process
- Brief — tell us your brand, the models you want and your target retail price. We will say which models fit that price honestly.
- Artwork — you supply a logo in vector format, or we lay out the carton for you. We send a digital proof and, on request, a physical proof before the run.
- Approval — nothing prints until you approve the proof in writing.
- Production — 5–10 days added to the standard lead time.
- Pre-shipment check — photographs of the finished cartons and a sample unit before dispatch.
OEM process
OEM means a product that does not exist in our catalogue yet. It is a project, not an order, and it should be planned as one.
| Stage | Typical duration | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Concept and feasibility | 1–2 weeks | We tell you what is achievable at your budget and volume |
| Sculpt or configuration | 3–6 weeks | New head sculpt, or a new body configuration from existing moulds |
| Sample | 2–3 weeks | Physical sample for your approval |
| Revisions | 2–4 weeks | One or two rounds is normal; more than that usually means the brief was unclear |
| Production | 20–30 days | After sample sign-off |
Tooling for a genuinely new mould is a real cost and is quoted separately. It is only worth it if you expect to sell the model for several seasons.
What we will not do
Worth stating plainly, because buyers ask:
- We will not copy another brand's protected sculpt or artwork. If a design is someone else's intellectual property, we decline the order.
- We will not print claims we cannot support. No "medical grade", no certification logos you have not actually obtained.
- We will not produce anything depicting a minor. This is absolute and not negotiable at any volume or price.
- We will not under-declare value on customs documents. It puts your shipment and our business at risk.
What to send us
- Brand name and logo files (vector preferred)
- Target retail price per unit, and your market
- Models or sizes you want, and estimated annual volume
- Packaging requirements and any marketplace rules you must follow
- Any labelling or certification your country requires
