About Vance Technology Future
We are a freight forwarding company based in Hong Kong, China, coordinating ocean freight from the major Chinese ports — Shenzhen, Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao, Xiamen and others — to destinations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Australia.
What we actually do
Most importers do not need a freight company to be clever. They need one that is organised. Our work is unglamorous and specific:
- Booking space with the right carrier for your route and deadline, not just the cheapest slot
- Checking that your supplier's export documents match what the destination requires
- Telling you the real cost breakdown before you commit, not after the container arrives
- Chasing the vessel, the terminal and the broker so that you do not have to
- Flagging problems early, while there is still time to fix them
How we work
One coordinator per client. You get a named person who knows your shipments, not a shared inbox. They answer on email and WhatsApp.
Written quotations with itemised charges. Ocean freight, origin charges, destination charges and surcharges are listed separately so you can compare quotes properly.
Honest timelines. If a sailing is likely to roll or a port is congested, we say so when we quote, not when it happens.
Compliance first. We do not under-declare cargo values, we do not advise avoiding duties, and we will not book a shipment whose documentation we cannot stand behind. This protects your goods and your business.
Credentials and documents
Two different kinds of number appear on a freight forwarder's paperwork, and they come from different places. Importers check both before they commit.
Company identity is issued when the company is registered. A Hong Kong company receives a Certificate of Incorporation and a Business Registration certificate; a mainland company receives a business licence carrying an 18-digit unified social credit code.
Operating authority is a licence to act as a carrier in a specific market. It must be applied for separately, and it is what allows a forwarder to issue its own bills of lading rather than booking under someone else's.

A note on credentials. Numbers on this page are either real or marked as not held. We do not publish a licence number we do not hold: any importer can check the FMC public register or a Chinese NVOCC filing in under a minute, and a false credential is a compliance problem, not just a marketing one. Where we do not hold our own operating authority, your bills of lading are issued by a licensed NVOCC partner and we tell you which one at quotation stage.
